Common Marantz faults and how we check them

| Amplifier or receiver goes into protect mode | Shorted output stage, failed power-supply rail or overheating. We trace the fault on the bench before replacing anything. |
| No picture or sound through HDMI | HDMI board, HDMI switch chip or firmware fault. We test every input and output with our own sources. |
| One channel silent or distorted | Output stage, amplifier IC or relay fault. Each channel is tested under load. |
| Dead after a power cut or surge | Fuse, power-supply or standby circuit damage. Often repairable at component level. |
| Overheating and shutting down | Cooling, fan or thermal fault, or a failing output stage. |
| Bluetooth or Wi-Fi drops, won't pair | Firmware state, antenna or wireless module fault. We reset, update and test before any hardware work. |

Marantz repair questions
Are you an authorised Marantz service centre?
No. Aleksandar Electronics is not an authorised Marantz service centre. We are an independent workshop with a lot of experience repairing Marantz products. If your Marantz product is still under the manufacturer's warranty, contact Marantz or the dealer you bought it from first. We repair out-of-warranty products and products the manufacturer would only replace.
How long does a Marantz repair take?
Most repairs take 1–2 working days. If a part must be ordered, we tell you the expected date before you approve the work.
Do you give a warranty?
Yes. Repairs carry a 3–6 month warranty depending on the device and the repair. The period is written on your invoice.
Can you collect my Marantz equipment?
Yes. Pickup and delivery in Dubai are free for three or more devices. Pickup of a single device is charged separately. Large systems can be collected together.
